Battery Live Talk
Advancing Battery Cell Manufacturing Through Process Innovations
Online (Webex) | Thursday 25 June 2026 | 4:30 – 5:15 pm (CET)
The Battery Technology Roadmap, recently published under Germany’s High-Tech Agenda, highlights start-ups as key drivers of competitive battery production in Germany and Europe. Building on this perspective, MANUGY and Qkera, two battery deep-tech start-ups, will show how their process innovations are shaping future cell manufacturing.
What will be discussed?
- Can start-ups unlock the next wave of innovation in the battery industry?
- How can battery cell production become more agile for specialized applications?
- What will it take to scale solid electrolyte production for solid-state batteries?
Speakers
This discussion format is free of charge and opens a channel for critical reflection on important questions that arise within the Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) European Battery Innovation.
The event is organised by the accompanying research of the IPCEI EuBatIn, managed by VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
